A Certificate of origin is an export document which is used to aid Customs clearance by confirming the country of origin of goods which are being exported. The document is certified by a Chamber of Commerce, and depending on the country of use, can be legalised by the destination country's Embassy if required.

UK Certificate of Origin

A UK Certificate of Origin is a commercial or customs requirement which is used to identify the country of origin of goods being exported and to determine the appropriate rate of import duty in the destination country. For the majority of destinations, the certificate will be certified by a Local Chamber of Commerce, however select destinations may also require Embassy legalisation. European Community Certificates of Origin which only require Local Chamber Certification are processed within 24 hours.

Arab-British Certificate of Origin

An Arab-British Certificate of Origin is used for the same purpose as a UK Certificate of Origin, however the completed document will be certified by the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce and is usually sent to the relevant country's Embassy for legalisation. These documents are required for the majority of shipments to nations of the Arab League, and offer the security of being the official documentation requirement for imports into the Arab League.. The document can be issued for use in the following counties:
